Cherbourg, port constructeur de sous-marins se doit de comm\u00e9morer la m\u00e9moire des sous-marins disparus.<br \/>Tous les ans une journ\u00e9e compl\u00e8te est consacr\u00e9e au souvenir des sous-marins disparus au large de nos c\u00f4tes du Cotentin ou \u00e0 ceux qui sont chers \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire des Cherbourgeois .<br \/>C&rsquo;est tout d&rsquo;abord le Vend\u00e9miaire \u00e9peronn\u00e9 le 3 juin 1912 au large du cap de la Hague puis, l&rsquo;Ondine qui quitta Cherbourg et disparut apr\u00e8s un abordage survenu la nuit du 3 au 4 octobre 1928 dans le golfe de Gascogne, le Prom\u00e9th\u00e9e qui sombra accidentellement devant le cap L\u00e9vi le 7 juillet 1932 lors de ses essais en surface et enfin, le Surcouf, construit \u00e0 Cherbourg, qui coula le 19 f\u00e9vrier 1942 dans la mer des Cara\u00efbes apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 heurt\u00e9 par un cargo<br \/>Des monuments \u00e0 Auderville, Fermanville et Cherbourg rappellent le souvenir de ces b\u00e2timents tragiquement disparus..<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column
